The structure of the web site constructed by Unifix includes a number of databases whose choice and arrangement of material represent an intellectual product belonging to Unifix, or possibly third companies which have granted a licence to Unifix, and are therefore protected under Italian Legislative Decree no. 169/99.

 

3.1 Information for users
With the exception of personal information and data, the communication of which is covered by the law on privacy, all material, information or data transmitted or deposited on the site will be considered as not confidential and not covered by any right of exclusivity or other limitation on use. Unifix and its appointed agents are therefore free to use this material, information and data for all purposes, including commercial. The transmission, uploading or downloading of illegal, threatening, defamatory, obscene or pornographic material or material in any way in violation of any applicable law is prohibited.
 

3.2 Cookies e log files
In accordance with Art. 122, of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, users are informed that the Unifix web site uses cookies which enable the company to trace certain data and personalise the on-line service. The cookies used are not persistent but "session" cookies, in other words temporary and expiring automatically when the browser session is closed. The cookies are used to optimise the site and therefore improve surfing. The browser can be configured in such a way as to refuse cookies or give a warning when a cookie is sent to your computer. In common with many other companies on-line, Unifix collects technical information from users’ computers each time they visit a page of the web site. This information includes the type of browser used, nation of origin, provider, address of last web page visited and other technical information used for merely statistical purposes. The IP (Internet Protocol) address of each individual user will not be recorded. However, together with the day and time of connection it may be memorised if the user takes part in competitions run on-line by Unifix (in this case it is used to confirm participation in the competition in the event of dispute) or if the user enters the Reserved Area of the "www.unifix.it online" site (in this case, the last access of the user is also recorded). Unifix processes, or delegates third parties to process and analyse, these data for statistical purposes and, in particular, to monitor the type of traffic, but it does not sell them or provide them to third parties for remuneration.

 

3.3 Links
The creation of links to the site is allowed only in respect of the following conditions: A link to the site is authorised following authorisation every time by Unifix, but not copy of the material contained on the site for commercial purposes. Browser environments or frames may not be created around the contents of the site (framing). Unless otherwise authorised by Unifix, the link may not directly or indirectly give the impression of the existence of any form of authorisation or approval by Unifix of third party products or services. No relationship with Unifix must be expressed or implied. False information on Unifix products and services must not be presented. Use of the Unifix logo and trademarks is prohibited without the express authorisation of Unifix.  Links must not contain, or lead to, material which could be considered in poor taste, offensive or controversial. Material must be suitable for viewing by users of all ages. Links must be exclusively to the home page of the Unifix site. Links to other pages of the site must be authorised by Unifix in writing. The origin of the links must not use the name, logo or other distinctive sign of Unifix, unless expressly authorised and covered by a specific licensing contract with Unifix.

 

3.4 Links to other sites
Links on this site to third party web sites are provided exclusively for the convenience of users. Use of the links implies leaving the site. Unifix has not verified linked third party sites and does not control, nor is responsible for, these sites or their contents. Unifix therefore accepts no liability for these sites, nor for any information, software, product or material contained in the sites, nor for any result which may be obtained by use of the same. If the user decides to enter one of the linked third party sites included on this site, it is understood that he does so at his own responsibility and risk.
 

3.5 Site security

 

The contents of the Unifix site and functions offered by the site are supplied "as is". In no circumstances may Unifix, its employees, agents, administrators, suppliers or other third party mentioned on the site therefore be held in any way liable towards users or third parties for any form of damage deriving from use of the site or other linked site, material or information it contains, including legal or implicit guarantees of suitably for particular uses, or relative to the interruption of sales activities or damage to image. With the exception of binding legislation in force within Italy.

 

The present terms and conditions are regulated by Italian legislation.
